A huge area of anyone's fitness goals is nutrition but how to use this to achieve your goals if its weight loss then there is no end of 'helpful diet advice' out there, however most fad diets either don't work or you lose weight stop the diet and then revert to old eating habits which means you put all the weight back on and probably a little bit more before you start another fad diet and repeat the cycle.
So how to lose weight and keep the weight off the answer is pretty obvious but is not really the answer that people want there is no easy fast way to lose weight and keep the weight off you just need to change your habits for life not just the length of a diet and start eating healthy balanced meals and stick to rules like eating food that is as unprocessed as possible and keep an eye on the amount of calories that you consume, then you should be able to loose weight.
A balanced diet should consist of 60% carbohydrates, this can come from fruits, vegetables, grains and pulses, about 25% fat try for unsaturated fat as much as possible things that are clear and runny like olive oil as oppose to saturated fats which tend to come from animals and are solid and white. and about 15% protein from high quality sources meat, eggs and pulses are a great source for this but remember if you don't eat meat or animal products you need a verity of different plant source of protein to make a balanced diet.
This is stuff everyone pretty much knows that burgers, doughnuts, chips, and sweets are bad for you and fruit, vegetables and lean meat is good for you. This doesn't mean that you can't have those bad things it just means that you have to eat in moderation don't compose your diet mainly from bad things.
Losing weight isn't about willpower well it is a little but the willpower comes in when you break the eating pattern you are in you need to find a way to change how you eat forever not just for the duration of time it takes you to get to your target weight now this may be simple but is definitely not easy but if you manage to make healthy eating your habit you won't need to go on another diet again.
